Q's World

Well, I am finally getting around to posting pictures of Q's nursery. I waited so long because I had a couple of details that I wanted to finish before I shared photos. Here is a little tour of Q's world (even though she is not living in it right now). She is still sleeping in the pack and play bassinet in our room since her room is on the other side of the house. I am hoping to get her moved in the next couple of weeks since she is only getting up once or twice a night now.
The daybed we got from our sweet neighbors. Sutton painted it white and his mom made these awesome pillows. It turned out so nice!

I have been waiting on these mirrors which were on backorder for several weeks. I got them from Pottery Barn Kids and I adore them. I think they make the room and I hope Q will love them too.

The crib and the chair (remember the chair? Well, it was definitely worth the wait!) Sutton's mom made all of the bedding and the amazing curtains! I hope Q gets some of that creativity...

The changing table- I love the picture above it...There is an up close photo coming below...

Here are a few of the details that I love-

These shelves were my Memaw's. Sutton painted them white and they are as good as new. Notice the worn out bunny that does not match. I love it and had to display it because my mom gave it to me the Easter before she passed away. Also, I love the Q's. I told my friend Lori about this idea (of course I saw it on a blog)and she started collecting them for us. I just think Q is the coolest letter ever!

Quincy's Gigi (Sutton's mom) painted this sweet picture...Q loves to stare at it when we change her.

LOVE this pillow! It turned out even cuter than I imagined.

I love these too...They were a gift from my work friends and they are perfect in the room.

This sweet cross was a gift from Sutton's aunts.

Well that is it! I love the room...It is so happy and peaceful and full of love.It is exactly what I hoped it would be!

(By the way, this post is especially for Becky B. and Amanda...Sorry it took me so long!)

Oh Johnna! It is beautiful!! I love it. Everything is so, so cute and I love all the little details. It makes the room that much more special.

Do I remember right that you got her crib there in town? Do you know what brand it is? I really like it. Also, I am glad to hear you are using the pack and play bassinet. We are planning to do that as well.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!!!!!!!! You attended to every little detail. One of my favorite things is the bunny your mother gave you! How special to have that for Quincy! Oh, and I love the Qs. What a great idea! And the daybed--you are so lucky your MIL can sew. Lucy's nursery won't be ready for awhile I'm afraid. Her crib is on backorder until mid-march! I'm doing a twin bed in her room too, and hope to sleep in there with her for the first few weeks.....although I worry I need a bassinet/pack and play.

Glad to hear Quincy is sleeping almost through the night--you're a lucky girl!

Her room is wonderful! And looks so different from before. Sorry we missed you this weekend -- I called a couple of times but didn't leave a message. Sam is sick now so it was probably a good thing we didn't meet up. Wouldn't want Quincy to get this stuff! Love you!
