Father's Day Weekend

One of our favorite annual traditions is our Father's Day weekend trip with Sutton's dad, Paul. This tradition started almost ten years ago with a trip down to Lake Amistad. The trip has evolved since then and we now go to Horseshoe Bay for the weekend. HB is a little more kid friendly than going to Acuna and hanging out on a pontoon boat (though those are some of our favorite memories.) We had a great time this year, but we did miss Becky and Davy who were not able to make it. We especially enjoyed wonderful dinners and hanging out by the pool at Escondido, which is gorgeous. We also got to spend some time with Lori and Jeff who happened to be at Horseshoe Bay that weekend for a wedding and with family friends, the Malloys. This is a fun trip because it is low key and all about quality time with our family. I did not take as many pictures this year, but here are a few...

Papa with sweet Caroline
This one is a little blurry, but the only group shot I got.
Uncle Sutton with sweet Caroline
Michael, Chels, and Caroline. We were so excited that Michael was able to make it in for dinner on Saturday night. His work is keeping him extra busy these days and we weren't sure if he would be able to get away.
Aunt Johnna and Caroline in our glasses
The amazing sunset at Escondido- Both nights we had dinner outside just off of the putting green. It was perfect!
